materials & care
calf hair is cowhide with its short, glossy hair left on, sometimes called pony hair even though it comes from cattle, and it feels smooth one way and textured the other.
- brush it lightly in the direction of the hair with a soft brush.
- keep it dry, and spot-clean marks with a barely damp cloth.
- keep it away from rough straps and bag edges, which rub the hair away.
- never wash, soak or tumble-dry them, or dry them on a radiator.
