why are they called paumier?
paumier (say poh-mee-ay) comes from jeu de paume, the game of the palm that came before tennis. it was first played with a bare hand, then by the end of the thirteenth century with a leather glove, and the first racket is recorded in 1505. the people who kept its courts and made its rackets were called paumiers.

each colour is made in a small run, so once it sells out it may not come back in the same shade.
